Hi Guys,

After joining the forum, and recently purchasing a second BMW , Ive made a few friends here, including some nice vendor chaps. i appreciate the warm welcome, so I would just like to share with you pics of my ride. Ive only had it for a year, and it's my first BMW after driving a W210 E280 for 14 years. I'll probably show you an evolution of pics from stock to current, but man, it has been fun! car drives like a beaut too..hahaa

Firstly,

thats how i got it stock. For some funny reason I don't have pics of it stock..ahhaa.. but it did come with the BMW powerkit for diesel ( bumping the 188bhp / 380Nm to 200bhp / 420Nm ) and did throw in the BMW performance brakes together with it. It drove great, but i felt the suspensions and the car was floaty and I didnt really have the confidence to push it on the B and windy roads. Plus, I had the urge to change the look of the car because it was a tad boring. So off i went..

Started out with the carbon bits..love the dry carbon and look of the bmw performance parts. Just had to complete the look.. a bit anal in that sense..

Then I ended up having a great deal for a set of ori M3 rims

Had the car detailed at Autodetailer

Then drove around a bit..decided I needed to up the sound

The gladens basically was a plug and play that raised my sound stage up by one notch. Love it!

After that I decided to change the diesel inverted exhaust pipe to the bmw performance ones.

Not much sound due to the turbo and the clattering of the diesel, but performance wise felt a bit better.

After that , there was marginal improvements in the drive except the suspension was still bumpy. Although the car comes with the m sport suspensions and springs, i felt it wasn't enough. so i managed to get a deal on a used bmw performance strut bar

This was then followed by Anti Roll Bars by H&R. now these items made a HUGE difference..

But then, sadly, my boss kerbed one of my rims, and i went through a pot hole and there were some marks on the rims, bo song for a while...thats when i found the BC forged rims and my fav pattern!

So I basically modded my car to the max..until I decided to take a final hit on this which was installed last Saturday..

So that was it...maxed out mod, and loving the car everyday. The diesel engine is incredible, and although it works very well with the euro 2 diesel we have here, its even BETTER with the Euro 4-5 diesel over at singapore, which makes the car run smoother, faster and powerful. I really hope they bring it over here soon!

And to end it off, here's a pic of how the car looks now..

i can only hope I don't mod the Z4 as much as this! I already dumped the rims, and I'll be down singapore this weekend to add some other bits, but that will be about it! ( i hope!)

Hope you all enjoy the pics!

Regards,
Karlson

you and I both!

I has memory for laps and track times, even storing info on the lateral g forces at corners, the rev meters are awesome when it lights up like a christmas tree, and having your oil and water temp ( water for diesel only, sad) is pretty good!

Only worry is the alcantara, which ive sprayed some layer of protection liquid that hopefully will last from sweaty palms.
