PML extented warranty

Hi all, Happy new year . Anyone buy extented warranty from pml?
May i know they prices? Worth to buy?

Extended warranty only extend the years from 3 to 5. Mileage still 100k. If u think u can drive more than 100k by 5 years then not worth it. I think if u buy during ur first year it's 2k+.

Cabin noises from interior trims, squeaks etc not covered also

in my "humble" opinion - forget it
after warranty expired, any probldm settle ownself is better result than rely on AD
if engine piang ... that is really sway ...

In my "humble" opinion, if you are happy with PML service, go ahead by all means.

Dun waste time ...

Even they dun honour their original warranty ... y let an extended warranty be so tempting ?

Dun forget if they pen ink Yr leather they say they will leather wash. They scratch your bumper they say touch up paint...

Even even u win get full bumper respray? What about 10 coats of glass coating? They will give u a beggar 20 pct discount.

Bmw is wonderful car but pml? I stay away from them. I need a Bmw? I get imported ones.

Reminds me sim Lim case.

It is true ...

When you collect your car from PML and during warranty and you hear weird sound, they ask you to come the next week cos of holiday. Next week you go ... they adjust and you find the sound softer ...

1 month later the sounds come back, you go back and confront them and they say I am going for holiday so ask you come back 1 week later ...

Cant wait so spend 800 dollar (exclude labor) from my pocket to purchase part and do outside ...

If a warranty does not warrant your car parts then why bother giving it in the first place ?

Still got the cheek to say tensioner pulley and belt is changed by pml but these are wear and tear parts so why give me under warranty ? worse then sim lim ...

then end of the day it is the crank shaft pulley as the main problem but pml adjust and adjust till minimise the sound ... that was the source of the problem ... which they do not want to admit ...

Tell them not to touch DME and they did .... then car becomes weird ... so give us crap excuses .... blame it on BMW asia or BMW but never blame PML themselves that they screw our cars....

Smoke, lie, empty promise, disappearance, vandalism is all about PML ....

First car and get such crap from them ... Its okie I learn the hard way now and in future I get a PI car and shun from PML ..

regarding PI warranties....

They follow PML's system in that only if you service with their appointed WS will they honour the warranty.

Now the tricky part is what is warranted? Does the PI warranty ws follow AD's method of evaluation or do they allow claims les strictly (or should I say less cunning) than ADs? I ask this cos some PIs offer 5 years warranty but the warranty statement is vague and at times a carbon copy of AD's warranty statement. I am not referring to small items but rather engine problems, aircon compressor, control arms, etc...those items which fall between the grey area of true breakdowns vs wear & tear.

In the end, we are faced with the same sh*t, and many will walk away muttering "warranty kee lan..."

I would suggest buy from PI and nego for even lower price without warranty.
When problem crops up, get it repaired at your most trusted ws from the saving you got earlier.

Not to say that AD is good, but PI also high risk now.
Take 50% down payment and run road leaving buyer suck thumb.
Sometimes, buy from AD also siao siao lan lan cos you will not expect AD to run road with your money.

With pi... it is much cheaper... even then u see your car when they operate or molest your car ... with pml u see nothing and no QC n we as customers have to wait... wait for CSO wait for no holidays...

Spend money have to see n endure their face.

Csm then hide in locked doors or upstairs..

Their mistake but they will find 1000 ways to hide the facts n smoke u.

Shameless .... to me no point to go pml... let others earn the money better.

Supan, I'm with you all the way. Next time buy car, jio me - lets go PI and then, we drive back to PML to flip middle finger..... :lol2:

Forgot to say ... when car sick ... send to pml, they will do test drive and say all is okie ... normal ... no problem ...

forgot they drive Civic Type R ...

End of the numerous middle fingers ... they will then take in the car to check and realised vanos bolt broke ...

tmd ...

Shameless or they dunno what is 335 ...

I believe you just missed a chance to do so by getting another car from them recently.

Wah bro,I couldnt agree with u more cos my car situation's exactly like urs..worse still,I was shocked to see the abysmal technical knowledge and ability of the mechanic and CSA in troubleshooting my car when I came to them earlier for a noise issue coming from my engine which was STILL not resolved after being charged an exorbitant $200 for replacing a claimed "broken" air filter pipe which was so called causing the noise..I mean,would u consider taking 2 other cars of the same model,parked them side by side my car and trying to replicate the sound problem my car was facing "Troubleshooting"????And even have the cheek to tell me that the sound could be due to the characteristics of the engine when the other 2 cars did not sound even remotely like mine??? What a bunch of jokers!!All they do is standing in front of the cars,looking blankly at the engines without even trying to figure out what could be the source and simply expecting me to accept back my ride without having to give explanations to my questions to them...One word sums it all: PATHETIC!!!
