PML service rant

F10 'hospitalized' in PML since Tuesday morning....car-less since....miss her so much!

Story:

Mon night 23/Apr - loss of power steering, a series of error codes showed up in iDrive - Need to check the problem asap by your bmw sevice

Tue morning 24/Apr - Bought car to PML - was told rear tyre puncture and they will patch it. Shun bian do third servicing there. Can only collect next morning.

Wed morning 25/Apr - Was told some electrical board also need to change. Need at least 10 working days to ship from Germany!! (Could be faster says SA Anthony). Request for courtesy car since it is going to take so long. SA say no available courtesy car.

Very unhappy - call him again and request, SA say will 'try his best' to request from boss.

Still very unhappy - call him again, SA say will give me a 3series once it comes back from another customer.

Thur 26/Apr - COURTESY CAR STILL UNAVAILABLE.

Just read a fellow F13 and F02 owner here can get a courtesy car in only 2 freaking hours! http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/6-seri...condensation-led-headlights-4.html#post801721

I beg and beg still don't have! Feel so like a 2nd class customer as because I only own a base pre-loved F10! knn! :furious:

Updates: Fri 27/Apr - Will be getting 3 series courtesy car later at 3pm! Maybe they saw this thread? Hee..

would it be worse if its someone with a e90lci 318i everything basic with halogen headlights i wonder?

did they give u taxi vouchers since they can't spare u a car?

i wonder did PML increase their courtesy car number in view of the BMW ahem ... "reliability" and their stellar "performance" in repair

Bro Wob gave them S$1m of business in 3 years ..... don't say courtesy car, throw in chauffeur also can.

Same everywhere. F10 is common now though it still cost an arm to most people.
As long as you don't expect, you won't be dissapointed.
For me, I only enjoy the car rather than their service unless i'm a sucker for it.
If the car creates problem for me, I will look around for other options other than BMW.
I'm sure there is one that will fit.

there is no problem free car be it bmw, audi or merc
the problem is the "dealer" ... how they many problems

problem comes with it when they start to sell car ... they should know it

If tell me they need 2-3 days to fix the problem - I'm ok ...no need courtesy car...but 10 working days is a long time.

Until now still don't have any news. Give me toyota i also happy. :silenced:

No choice, still under warranty had to go back to them.

Read all the PML stories on this board, now I finally experience it. :dramamam:

Honestly, I'd rather NOT have to use a courtesy car. I really just rather have a TROUBLE FREE PURCHASE.

I know someone whose E60 went in twice and both times got F10 as courtesy car.
