my e90 320i also $200+ serviced in pml
outside servicing (4.5L oil + filter) is about $160-$170+ ...
pml is premium ma and you eat 2 cakes + drink 2 coffee leh
so next time eat more cakes and drink more coffee lor ... lol

check you bill ... got kena $10 washer fluid top up or not? wahahaha

am driving the E60 lar bro... its the same bottle... i later take a pic to show you all.... all is the same...

Now, just for those BROS who were wondering why I asked, it was because Giant is selling LL-98 oil that was "recommended" for older models based on the charts, but apparently not for E60 and F10. If AD is using the same for our Bimmers, was there a mistake or is it based on a qualified technical decision to do so?

I think some bros here will remember all the long discussions we had on LL-01, LL-04etc... any experts want to comment?

Hi all... just something to share about my experience with PML...

Monday went to PML as my sister wants to update the particulars with PML, she was somehow asked to do servicing, then she ok lor... everything was well, till when we got the car....

1. we asked for to help check on spark plugs, as we dun know if the previous owner got do any change or not,
Labour: $55.00 (arent taking out the spark plugs is just a small matter during the servicing? as will need to take out the engine cover and all? )

2. Oil change with BMW "super" 5W40 engine oil.
Charge: $200++ (i was given a left over small bottle put in my car, and guess what... its the same that i had bought at GIANT!!!! @$13.99... i wonder how they derive at $200++ even if my car uses 10 bottles... its only $150...

3. labour cost for all: additional of $100.
they really thought we print money...:errr:

4. finally, something was free i saw on the invoice: CAR WASH >>> $0.00

thinking to myself... LOL...at least i got a free thing from PML.... total damage i received was about $400++ and i only ate like 2 pieces of cakes and drank 2 cups of kopi... sick....

You need to look at your invoice. They don't any how charge one. Definitely there will be a breakdown of cost and quite standard one.

Last time I see my invoice...
oil filter is $20+.
Labour is 11 x N, should be $33-$44
Some standard scope $$11 x N
Oil around $30/L, or somewhere there

$200+ for oil change is not too bad.

One reputable outside workshop quoted me $60 for labour, $26-35/L for oil...I calculated and realised they are more expensive then PML and MA.

5-40 is the wrong grade. N42 should be on LL01-FE, i.e. 5-30.

Giant got sales for 5-30??

For some .... got oil can liao, got bmw badge is enough
All oil the same, all bmw the same
And in singapore all cars the same .... fcuking expensive

If I'm not wrong PML is using Shell Helix now. I prefer Castrol which I used for more than 10 years. But recently I searched tests on synthetic oil and Penzzoil seems one of the better one and seems like Shell bought the company and are selling their US oils under Shall Helix brand. Then again if you change oil quick enough like 10k km, any oil should be ok?
Now I'm trying Liqui Moly.
