You need to look at your invoice. They don't any how charge one. Definitely there will be a breakdown of cost and quite standard one.

Last time I see my invoice...
oil filter is $20+.
Labour is 11 x N, should be $33-$44
Some standard scope $$11 x N
Oil around $30/L, or somewhere there

$200+ for oil change is not too bad.

One reputable outside workshop quoted me $60 for labour, $26-35/L for oil...I calculated and realised they are more expensive then PML and MA.

bro...thanks for the info....but they cant explain about the $12.00 washer liquid which i dun know what liquid that costs so much...

5-40 is the wrong grade. N42 should be on LL01-FE, i.e. 5-30.

Giant got sales for 5-30??

Giant got... but its mobil one... so next time i should use 5-30?

Re: PML service

CARROT cakes?

Re: PML service

Maybe they flush the wiper wash and fill it with evian. Anyway, you can specifically tell them you do not want the wiper wash filled the next time round.

Comments reserved till TS posts some evidence, but having wrong spec EO being poured into newer generation engines is plain wrong regardless of whose mechanic does it.

At that price, i think i could fill it up with Perrier myself.

Re: PML service

It's okay. Next time just ask for better cakes and coffee!

PML really knows their stuff.

Dunno. Was thinking potential for class action. Proof must be solid.

Because putting in non-compliant engine oil will make the engine explode! Welcome to Buy More Worries! :)

I'm sorry. You made these comments just to say the cakes are no good?

So, you have paid for a service and was rendered one which now calls into question not just the quality of the service ( i am ignoring the complaints on pricing) but the correct materials used during the service. There is an assumption of duty of car which may not have been met; whether through negligence, recklessness or intention (to be determined). What this means is that you may not have gotten what you paid for and may result in damage to your property and or other consequential loss. Its really up to you if you want to take legal action or want to find out if others using the same service rendered by the same provider is similarly flawed (hence, suggestion of a class action).

I am slightly perplexed as i have never received any leftovers in a bottle when servicing there as i thought they use engine oil from a drum rather than from 1L bottles. Just wondering.
