I think its a case of the supply being lowered instead of overwhelming demand.
No stock does not means 328 selliing very well, its only pml order lesser car in the past few months in anticipation of the limited coe.

i'm not surprised, they were pushing the 328 very aggressively with pretty high discounts off list price. including overtrade, at one stage i think the discount was up to 27k, if i'm not wrong.

Chershen, do you know much about the 11%+9% promo for e class? My SE told me its capped at $27k which includes over trade and service/assessories vouchers. But simple calc of 20% on say 250k should give 50k?

hi epong, they are basically same pattern but with different terms.

11% = amount of discount given. eg. if the e200 is selling at 260k, the actual price of the car is 231k. if no need overtrade, can buy at that price. if need, the amount of about 28k can be used for overtrading.

9% = car loan rebate. if the overtrade above is not enuff, you can use this too. 9% of loan taken, which works out to be about 23k. this has a catch, the int rate is slightly highly than the usual 1.88.

Actually not just the 28s... Limited stocks on e class too...

Just checked on last friday,E300 no more stock, have to wait till 6 months later. So bought E200 @$258888 with limited color options.
$3k discounts+ $5k service converted to cash + $25K overtrade + $12k rebate with 2.68% for 5 years loan .
