Looks to me that the Viper was not properly geared for this track. You can see towards the straights that the viper was not really going anywhere and the GT3 just took it. Both very competitive drivers. This kinda race is where luck and fate produces the winner. Hahah these 2 cars made the BMWs look slow.

Viper gearing was fine.. watch on the longest straight. It's just that he interrupted WOT trying to get round traffic (whereas the Porsche did not) Despite the interruption it still took the Porsche about a second to pass him which shows the Viper had come from a distance back, and moved to quite a distance ahead at the point just before throttle lift. Still once the lift was made, it took a very long time to recover speed because at those speeds you're close to the aero drag limit.

Axl koko, that is 7GT3 Cup Car not GT3RS...
Porky driver quite aggro, competitive and drives very well to maintain his lead n pace tho clearly the Viper is a much more powerful n faster car.
At Minute 6.40 Porker took the famous banked corner on the outside line and pulled away...champion...I want the driver's autograph.

viper driver seems really aggro but the gt3 drivers seems more experienced to be able to defend so brilliantly.
the viper is clearly more powerful and have more poke but it wasnt able to take the gt3 in just like that
saw quite a few times that when the viper almost took the gt3 round the bends, the gt3 outbraked him n recovered
classic reminder of how 0-100kmh is impt, but100-0kmh is no less impt
