Hi all,

Bro Travis is gonna ask for us for GB from Classic Auto Leather.

Price: going to neg based on number of interested parties

Item: do up all your seats and door panels in Dakota leather (similar to sports line black leather with red stitching)

Proposed Schedule: 3 days to process the leather seats.
Once ready, leave car at workshop for about 1 day for installation

I start the ball rolling first

Look at the final price first.

Classic quoted 2.3k with 3 days processing time and 1 day install which means total downtime is only 1 day.

color shldnt be an issue..
i was just referring to the leather quality and stitching..
I went personally to check out the leather already, quite close..
its the same place as TOP93

Perhaps also ask if can join in the group buy but arrange for installation with Classic Auto only at a later date, as long as it's within a prescribed period of time, say 2 months?

That will allow bros who are collecting their rides later to join in as well.

Think there should be a good amount of interest if the pricing is reasonable. Most of the 1 series bros probably not going to be used to fabric seats.

Thanks for putting this together. I am keen on leather seats though my final decision is largely dependent on final price. So a lil embarassed if i put my name down and decide not to go ahead coz price isnt what i expect.

Rather than gathering interest blindly where some bro already indicated that pricing is an issueWhy not ask CA for their GB discount structure, at least with that piece of info everyone is clear what they are into and you will also have a target to meet

I think we should look into what CA have to offer..
I will try contacting them later.

I have email to them to ask for the quote but they have not get back to me.

I would like to consolidate the qns that all of your are concern, so i have a clearer picture on what the things to check with them again.

I went down before, only the foreman are there, no one to even talk abt their "pricing"
