Several months ago I replaced mywife's e46 control arm bushings with powerflex. The original has rotted and torn so after reading endorsements in other forums I bit the bullet and ordered the powerflex. I don't drive my wife's car that much so can't elaborate on whether its a huge improvement over stock or not. I drove her car yesterday. On the straights and smooth corners I have no complains - the car felt refined. But where I hit a rough patch right at the apex, it was utterly uncomfortable. The vibrations transmitted thru to the steering was so harsh it feels like the wheels are going to fall off.
So if you are a powerflex user, do you have the same compromise on comfort? Or could it be I have some other part on the car about to fail?
