STOMP - Singapore Seen - Principal stalks ex-students on FB and says their photos are 'nice', 'cute' and 'pretty'
STOMPer Nel felt uncomfortable when his daughter's ex-teacher, who is now a principal, commented that his daughter's Facebook profile picture was 'nice'.
He said the principal's facebook account also revealed that he had been making similar comments on other students' pictures as well.
The STOMPer said that this individual had made these comments when he was a physical education teacher, and that he is currently a principal of a secondary school in the North.
Nel said:
"The recent Lee Lip Hong saga reminds me of an incident me and my wife discovered a few months ago.
"We were prowling through our teenage daughter's Facebook when we saw her ex-PE teacher making the comment 'Nice!' on one of her profile photos!
"Feeling uneasy about such a comment, we went into his Facebook account and discovered that he has been stalking his secondary school pupils on Facebook, visiting their photo albums repeatedly and posting comments like 'Nice!', 'Cute!', 'Sweet!', 'Pretty!' on their sexy and seductive photos!
"He also visited bikini and sexy models Facebook pages and even commented on a video with the title 'woman had orgasm while sitting on the roller coaster.'
"Teachers are role models and as parents, we entrust our children’s education to these teachers.
"Teachers should not even be preying on the young.
"What kind of perverted thoughts are going through this educator’s mind when he sees these pupils?
"What kind of message is this educator sending to his pupils when these postings can be openly viewed by all?
"I think the line has been crossed.
"This is extremely worrying.
"With people like Lee Lip Hong and Chua Ren Cheng and such educators with such character around in the local education system, will our pupils be safe?"
