Probably the 1st in the world

Not exactly better than Big Brake Kit but here is my latest fun mod...
Front E46 M3 brakes installed onto Z4.
It has Stop Tech ss brakeline and Axxis Ultimate brake pads.

Wanted to do the rear conversion but too much work so mission aborted. Instead, the rear brake pads were also upgraded to Axxis Ultimate and ST ss brakeline too.

Before the upgrade of rear pads n brake line, the front braking bias was quite obvious...However, after all in...the bias is reduced. Kudos to Ah Wee of BVO for the superb work :)

Cheers :)

Well done mate!! Is there a huge improvement over the standard?

Not huge as in 50 pct but likely my foot toes n butt telling me bout 30 pct improvement. At least, I brake later now with confidence...

Re: Probably the 1st in the world

Very nice!! At least your M3 stock brakes are not sitting in some cupboard collecting dust! Kudos!

Re: Probably the 1st in the world

sweet... i like the look of the rotors with your rims; but is that a scratch on the lower right edge of your front lip (ouch) or a reflection?

Well Done Jack!

Think you are the 1st forum guy to mod two BMWs in a short period of time.

Thanks bro,....
I am sure I still lose out in total $ mods to some people :lol2:

Re: Probably the 1st in the world

Well done bro! What took you so long to post this latest mod of yours? hahaha! Should test it against your M3 brakes now... I volunteer to be the other driver.

Hehe....was bored so posted it....

Still bedding in the rear pads, so far only clocked bout 100ish km.....
but progressively i can feel decent improvement over stock and the front bias is gradually reduced as the rear pads are bedding in....

thats always good... but anyway, the BMs always come with an automatic brake bias adjuster so no worries.. all it takes is a while to adjust...
