Question on F10 vibration

Hi guys,

Owner of a 2012 f10 520i. Need some help or advice here.

When I accelerate from stationary or Low speeds, there seems to be a grinding type of vibration coming from the floorboard and accelerator pedal. The vibration usually happens more when there's heavy acceleration from slow speeds or stationary or when moving off on an upslope.

Not sure if it's gearbox mounting, gearbox or drivetrain related issues. Gearbox fluid was just changed recently, mileage at 90k. Anyone encountered similar issues before or any recommended workshops to go to for diagnosis on this problem? Thanks in advance guys

I had the same symptoms as what you described. After changed out the engine and gear box mounting, its all good now.

Okie thanks guys. If it's mounting issues then maybe it's not so bad. Just more worried if it's a gearbox or clutch issue then it's gonna be costly. How much does the gearbox and engine mounting cost usually?
