When your friends and you don't dare to buy. Don't even want to check on own house valuation. About time.....

Good advice...

When i buy my first private property in 2008 at $748888 stone throw to bus interchange and mrt station. Everyone told me I bought it at high price should wait for few months and the market going to crash soon. Whose know I actually got it at the super right timing, now can anytime ask for $1.1m-$1.2m. I believe so long u need a roof just buy wat u like. U dun sell y care the propery go up or down

One to watch and sales response...Capitaland's launch of Bishan condo..at 1700 psf...lets see if how many genuine buyers at this crazy price...U pay high u sell high...but maybe we shld let the developers know...sorry this is dumb price u paid so u suck it and bear these losses...hope there are no cai tao here who are keen to buy this project

The development is called Sky Habitat. It should be launching in 1 or 2 months' time cos the showroom's building is ready, now waiting for the interior.

1700 can consider decent development along novena and newton already. I really hope that project does not blow up the market. Then again, there are more crazy ppl out there than rational ones...

Interesting scenario definitely

After discount should be closer to $1500psf. While Thomson Grand was marketed at $1400psf, the actual selling price for a high floor pool facing unit was only $12XXpsf. $1500psf is still a very high price, so Capitaland has to pitch it as a very classy condo with top notch quality.

no matter how they market it, one is better off buying used or recently completed projects in Newton and Novena at that kind of pricing. To me, they just overbid for it but I must compliment their mgt..their execution be it marketing or sales always seem to work...still i hope rationale prevails end of the day.

in this bearish market, wait n see approach best.....developers r all rushing to sell their mass mkt projects to ride on the recent buying momentum...wat does it say? they know that market conditions are worsening...add to our beloved new MND minister who makes populist policies to ensure housing remain affordable to all....no complaints except that when he implemented the ABSD, it sort of shows his apparent lack of understanding of the market then....the high-end mkt is alr slowing down...foreigner talent too....to me its lk a last kick to the high end market to ensure it topple faster and deeper...can only say its a popular move thats all...
