Rattling sound from soft top

Hi! I wanna check with those who drive soft tops is they experience a rattling sound from the rear. Especially when going over speed hump and sometimes on uneven road. My 120 does that quite a bit......

nothing I can do about it? I wish I had checked with you guys earlier... I sent my car back to PML 3 times

Its just how all soft tops are.

You want to be fussy then change all rubbers and tighten the screws. Can reduce but not eliminate. Accept lo. Switch on the radio louder.

Check and see if there a cable in the roof some where that is moving around. Half open the roof and have a peek into the roof. It's the cable that leads to the top drive motor.

True story leh. My old car, exhaust very noisy, pews pews even noisier. Until I got my ice setup and subwoofer. Blast Belinda Carlisle and ATB, can't hear the car at all.

True story leh. My old car, exhaust very noisy, pews pews even noisier. Until I got my ice setup and subwoofer. Blast Belinda Carlisle and ATB, can't hear the car at all.

Indeed to have good bass you need a sealed and solid 'box' for the reverberations. Soft top? Nah. Waste money. Additional weight for amps and stuff.... loss of pickup plus higher fc.

Buy soft top car must go roofless as much as possible. An excellent exhaust is more pleasurable...
