I am looking at getting the HU panel adapter (not sure if this is what you call it but I am referring to the ones that sits around the new aftermarket HU) ... where can i purchase this and approx how much? Gurus here pls help....

The brand that most ppl use in SG is Scosche.

Looks like agent no stock - you have to check with the installer.

I bought the last piece from autobacs. Price is about $70.

Alternatively, US websites like ebay etc sell for only US$15 or less.

Yeap I got mine from Autobacs too. But since Iceman took the last piece, I guess you have to wait for a while or order from somewhere else, outside Sgp that is. Cheers.

best way is to call a few installers and check, if its a hot item, some of them will keep some stock. Tye Electronics may have, since they regularly do BMWs.

its a plastic panel to cover the area around your aftermarket headunit.

Sorry, I was wrong in my earlier post.

I just met the local Sosche agent, and he confirmed that there is stock for the E46. If the installer has no stock, all they need to do is to call the agent - SQ Image and they will send it down.
