Part and parcel of car ownership. On my previous ride, I picked up a nail on a half-week old PS2

Do change the tyre if a patch is not recommend for safety reasons. If you wanna save money, just go to a reputable outside shop - PML has nothing over them.

depend on where the nail hits.. patch sometimes doesn't work, for peace of mind.. just change the tyre..
i got a big nail implanted in a slanted position and gauzed the side wall. the tyre got pregnant on the side..
less than 2K mile on it.. pain pain change new piece.

If the tyre can be patched, use the internal patching method. It provides a more reliable seal at high speed. Should be about $20.
