I think the adhesive holding the mirror to the windscreen of my E36 has called it a day ... luckily it didn't fall off while on the road. What sort of glue is used to stick it to the windscreen? Or anyone know a workshop I can get it done? Thanks!

my one too fall it off but i had ask for some of the bmw mechanical guys they say u can go to the kranji place where they sell all the bmw parts and ask for a triangluar brand glue to stick back the mirroe to the windscreen.
The tape falls off eventually. In the end I went to this place, Sin Hock Heng, Blk 7 Sin Ming Ind Estate #01-90, tel 64548160, and they did it for about $20. Still in place so no complaints.
