One trick i was told is to Wax the vinyl layer also. Then the shine will be better and most importantly, wont fade. But must be careful when cleaning that the cloth does not have any particles that will potentially scratch and tear the vinyl.

actually w/o waxing also look quite glossy already.. do you know what brand of sticker they use for urs?

Yah, tats y the cost is $250. i search for a long time before settling for DFM to do the roof, the others are mainly using Dry CF from 3M which i feel its not so nice when applied to exterior parts, Interior trim is OK cos dark mah cannot see very well..haa

Some pics i found on net which the Original CF roof from a E92 M3. can compare mine and his but of cos the orginal one is the most swee! Only if i have enuff dough..haa

U can ask DFM to wrap a layer of clear flim over it..Shd have opt for the gloss carbon than no need headache anyway price dun difference so much. Else just stick to current 3M carbon lor. Waste $$ to redo the whole thing again.. i got sample on my roof somemore with white car for u to see then u end up go choose the matt one.haa

Re: Recommend: Spraying Roof

Hi guys, wanted to check with those who had your fin wrapped as well, how are the finished work on the fin? After some time does it still maintain or will there be any problem? cause check with some shops they say the wrapping wont last as the fin is too small and not just a flat surface.

thinking of spraying or wrapping but spraying just the fin takes a much longer time and is irreversible... zzzzzz

Haha no lar, I don't like cf roof. I wanted metallic black actually, that's why glossy black sticker. But how is your wrapped fin holding up bmmer? I want to get this done asap. Either wrap glossy black or spray along with my diffuser. Need your feedback.
