When you mean profile, I am assuming either grip or comfort?

For example 2##/40/R18..... It's stated on your tyre

I just changed a set of Bridgestone 245/40 R18 Run Flat. $590 inclusive GST.

Best RFT is PS2 but so far unable to get in SIN. Typical RFT available here are CSC3, RE050 and NCT5, of which I think CSC3 is best and should be around $480 a piece for 18in.

What about Dunlop Sp Sports Maxx? I don't really Chiong much but prefer quiet ride.

Tire Search Results

Here are your choices. I think CSC3 SSR or Dunlop SportMax GT DSST is your best bet. Both also happen to be BMW OEM. Pirelli P Zero RFT is new, not sure if anyone has tried it.

Going bald...any good recommendations? One dealer mentioned Good Year RFT for 500+ per tyre.
If they recommend Goodyear RFT, I believe the model is Eagle F1 GS-D3 RunOnFlat.

Well, unsure what is your preference with regard to the RFTs e.g. Road Performance? Mileage? Personally I would only go for the first 2 in e list below (in order of preference);

MICHELIN Pilot Sport PS2 ZP *
BRIDGESTONE Potenza 050A RFT *
KUMHO Ecsta MX XRP *
PIRELLI P Zero Run Flat (not P Zero Nero Run Flat)
PIRELLI Cinturato P7 RFT *

If u like to have a look at available RFT (almost all available in SG), click the link (it's a poll) = http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/1-series-owners/64543-rft-ssr-zp-emt-dsst-euforia.html

* There's a complete write up on Performance Testing conducted in late 2011 on these RFT, they can be found at tirerack.

In terms of ride/noise comfort, the below 2 leads the tirerack's testing chart (among e 4 tested tyres):

1st is Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP and 2nd is Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run Flat
