Remote car key battery low warning!

Hi all,
Car less than 2 years old(F30), and encounter battery low warning alarm when I entering my car with keyless entry.
Seen like the battery life span a bit shorter? Is the remote key battery under warranty? If not how much for the battery to replace?

Same problem! I have been using only one key, and my car is only almost 2 years old. I replaced mine a while ago myself. One battery costs slightly more than 10 bucks if u buy from home fix. Mine died after 2.5 years...on the key that wasn't used.

No biggie. Just go buy one battery and change it yourself. Few dollar nia. 1 min can settle.

Not used one was dead? I thought it would be other way around!

Again, batteries go faster if you in landed properties (keys in close proximity)!

Yes, the one that wasn't used regularly went flat. Car will remind key battery is low.

I am driving a 2011 E90. I don't seems to be able to find the way to open the remote control to replace the battery according to the User Manual.

Anyone can share?

Very simple , you can follow the car manual or it will show you how to remove the battery in your car information system.
Batteries can buy from diy shop cost about
