Repair E90 Gearbox

where can I repair the E90 gearbox ?

Change the existing one to an overhauled one.

they changed the gearbox solenoid , O2 Sensors still same problem , then advise me , to change gearbox , tell me not to use the recon one , tell me recon not safe ........ , my car is 2005OCT . left 2½ years

Drive until cannot. Scrap it after that. It is cheaper that way.

left 2.5 years.... either drive till cannot or change to a recon one.
ask whoever who told you recon is not safe, why is it still been sold? change a brand new GB to drive for only 2.5yrs. might as well change new car.

Take cheaper route and do it else where ....

sometime the engine will stop when idling , detected O2 sensors problem , change at same time
now looking who can do overhaul for the gearbox , that mean the gearbox solenoid i just changed will be wasted ? :shock:

Obviously the solenoids are not the only problems. you could send it to a gearbox specialist instead of a general workshop ............

I reckon you should overhaul your own GB instead of getting a recon-ed one since your solenoid is already changed. (ie. 50% overhauled?)
