Replace front windscreen

sibei sian ... got a free gift at PIE yesterday evening :errrrrrr: :twisted:

call MA ... can claim MSIG insurance (NCD not affected) ... excess $500
according to MA the original windscreen replacement inclusive of labour comes to $2K

don't think is repairable or polish away huh ... it's not just a superficial chip

depends on whats ur car BMWs should be standard 100...

some other makes has diff rates....

MSIG has no excess for replacement of windscreen.

There is no need to pay anything to re-insure the new windscreen as some insurance company calls it.

I am insured with MSIG too and I had one replaced this year.

ncd 50% not affected. let's see the insurance renewal premium, i was told should not be affected by windscreen replacement unlike insurance claim due to accident

I also suay suay kena cracked windscreen from stone hit along PIE passing adam overhead a day after you.

I too got a free windscreen replacement courtesy of MSIG insurance . Heng!
The only damage I have to pay was for re-tinting of my windscreen.

Agent says if I could've request to include windscreen tinting coverage when renewing or signing on new policy, then re-tinting cost would be covered as well.

I don't recommend re-tinting in coverage as it cost less than $100 for windscreen but additional premium would be higher.

Premium wont affect, Is tat so? Anyway, I oso during Xmas day kena a Y shape crack after a R8 drove past me.....crack size less than 1/2 a 5cent coin size. Din wan the hassle of claiming, arranging for replacement, downtime and in fear of next year premium kena loading, looked for glassmedic instead. Lookswise, managed to reinstate about 80-90%, damage is $55, I'm a happi man

AFAIK, AXA/AIG also have free windscreen replacement - one per year, ZERO EXCESS.
