Resetting adaptive driver memory

Do not know if this was posted in the past. I have done this in the past with my E46 but was wondering how it can be done on push button start cars and found this:

I have tried it yesterday on my E64 and it is much more responsive to drive. Just want to share this with you guys. Enjoy!

Thanks bro, just tried on my E90 and seems to be more responsive now. Discover more and more of our bimmer each day.

Dun know if this is a simplistic ECU 'remap'? hahaha

was driving previously on my e60 530i.. everything was smooth after years of adapting to my driving style.. read about adaptive learning reset thing..
did the procedure.. darn!.. after that got transmission slam every now and then.. i was at the mid of the fifth year at 80~90k..mileage..
not sure what happened.. didn't bother to find out since the ride was scrapped and exported..
but be aware reset might not be a good thing at certain time.
