Hi, this post was requested by the supplier of my SC kit..... i think you all know who he is. I think he is confused that the name 'Wil' is actually a male name and not a bi-sexual one (then again we have 'Wilma') so the 'man' is behind it? heh heh heh

Anyways, back to the topic.

Picked up my car E46 325i Step from the garage after being away from my dirty paws.

As of today its only done almost half (2ookms) of its recommended running-in period. Seems the bearing, belt etc needs bedding in.

So only kinda er....... light throttle has been applied. And..... man, the car feels almost 300kgs lighter! those of you that have the 325i knows how sluggist it is....well, in the low revs when the SC is engaged (it has a clutch system where it auto engages at 1,800RPM) you can certainly feel the improvement. Sorry, i dun have an access to a dyno here but i will def post it up here again when i can get some proper figures.

Another 'feature' is the 'vacuum' swisssssh sound when i lift the throttle at about 4000rpm..... NICE i like!

So thats all for now folks....... give me another few more days and when i hit the 500kms run-in, gonna be driving her like i always did! REDLINE THE BITCH!

Second that.

You'll need a new bumper for that! Cool...let us know the dyno graph once you're done running in lil red riding hood :p

mtech2 bumper would be awesome for you!! congrats man..

Re: Review: ASA SK1 with FMIC

if i go the OEM way, it would be the Mtech1 .......and i can still go into basement car-parks etc.....

but of course it wont be as garang.

but to me the best option os the Tornado Kit. :cloud9:

Re: Review: ASA SK1 with FMIC

Daniel, where do you plan on getting your Tornado kit?
So where did you install your guages?

Re: Review: ASA SK1 with FMIC

the tornado kit will have to wait.......indefinately.

the gauges will be autometer ultra-lite.
3 of them, air-fuel ratio, water temp & boost.

fitment.....er.....my carpark?

Re: Review: ASA SK1 with FMIC

One question, can your step transmission tahan the power after the s/c? Are you planning on swapping to a manual trans?
