Wanted to know whether anyone out there has installed the Revo Analog-Digital processor in a E60? Will that affect the iDrive controls?

Ya, that's right. Wondering how it will work with my E60 iDrive unit, especially the controls, now that Revo has it's own control unit.

i think Chris is asking if the Revo DAB can be installed on the e60, right?

Thanks Ferd. Ya, I just wanted to know if any E60 out there has installed this Revo DAB in their car and what its like for the channel control and all that.

Basically the Revo can be added on to any car, because it has a FM modulator. You just have to tune your car's system to the correct frequency, and voila...

Channel control is via the unit itself.

Hint: for much better sound out of the Revo, I would recommend that you connect it via the line out, instead of the FM modulator. The unit that I reviewed did not impress me on sound quality via FM method.

The only thing is that you will need to find space in your cabin to mount the unit, and attach the bosch DAB antenna to your windscreen.

if ur HU doesn't have an Aux-in, i think Revo is redundant,
u will be better off using ur HU's FM receiver.
unless u r desperate for the DAB-exclusive channels.
