Just intro-ing myself to all the car lovers here and everywhere,
it is an honour to associate myself to this oh-so-enlightening Bimmer site.
My ride is a 1998 328i E36 4dr, met silver with black cowhide interior.
Everything is stock standard, apart from the Hella Celis headlamps and
Depo front turn signals. I am trying to keep at least 98% of it original.
My batch [CKD one-lah] came with the M3 cosmetic treatment - f+r bumpers, skirts,
mirrors.My registration plate is Wxx 328 [Malaysian one lah]. Oh, I am the 2nd
owner, Lillian Too's [fengShui queen] daughter was the ori owner and it was really
well kept and the odo read only 68000 km when I bot it!
I am Penang-mari one.... a tharn-chiak tar-porh-kia in Petaling Jaya.
Aged over half-a-century, my other chariots are a Merc 280SE W126 v1987
and a W208 CLK 230K v2001. My E36 is my choice set of wheels deserving
all my attention and my hands-on wash/clay/wax massage... the others go to
the local carwash thambis.
My leanings are towards WWW = Wine Whisky Wooomen and karaOK. Gave up
tobacco 3 years ago and fought the weight gain with MTBing and race walking.
My labours involves the design/writing/publishing of 2 local mags; one a F&B,
the other a 32yr old auto mag. Advertising and design are my bowls of porridge.
Oh, and I also adore green plants [not the flowering species as they attract uninvited
pests!] and like them potted cos loanding them encourages lallang growth!
This is one long intro but I guess it helps you paint a picture of me, little old me.
