A similar incident happened to him about 10 years ago, and that time, the robbers got away, he added.

Dun flame me for this, but could this be a case of hired hit masked as an attempted robbery?

I think its possible considering he owns a business there and would be quite known to would-be robbers and/or business rivals. It could be a case of his rivals hiring gangsters to just rough him up or teach him a lesson. I guess this sort of intimidation would be quite common up north.

BTW, a little OT, do you live in Bishan dude? Think your ride was just behind mind after u came out from the junction near St 11 near Blk 116. You were riding open top right?

2. Locks Brakes (haha..)
3. Releases chloroform gas.
4. Ignites from the inside.
