Roof and windows all wet wet from windscreen washer

Does anyone experience this: windscreen water jet - besides washing the windscreen - also wet your roof, and both the driver and passenger's side windows. I find it absolutely stupid. Anyone here has the same problem?
If this is not normal, I will go bang table....

btw brought this over from another thread regarding headlight washer (so that I don't OT there):

Sorry OT a bit - when I activate wind screen washer, my roof and side windows get wet, and my bonnet also wet from the headlight washer. Everywhere wet wet. Is this normal?

wash yr windscreen with headlight turned off... end of problem..
also if you insist ..can clean yr windscreen at >100kph.. headlight ineffective in this speed as well..
Thanks bro, I tried this morning by switching my headlight off, and yes, no more washing of headlights! And my bonnet is dry :)

sometimes i wonder if the headlight washer does really help... my ride doesnt have it hence i dunno..
I find it not really useful here in Singapore, because we don't have snow or sand.

Can you adjust the spray nozzle with a needle ?

My Saab had this issue and the SA just whipped out a needed and adjusted till I am happy with where the water is spraying.
