Let's do a tally to see which model/engine/owner has this same problem....:

1. HumpityDumpity - N20 520i, idling RPM 850, mileage 2K, nothing changed since PML says its normal
2. Westwwood - N20 520i, idling 760 (suppose to tune to 800RPM), changed engine and gear box mountings

Re: RPM Tunning

have this issue of small vibration with my new PI 528i too.
aircon when set on auto is quite noisy (the fan noise), but on manual mode fan speed 1 & 2 is less audible/silent.

normal?

5. Viper Warrior - N20 528i LCI, idling 850RPM (Aircon on), 700RPM (Aircon off), mileage 12k, zero vibration (PI car). Only loud fan noise at times during hot weather.

Re: RPM Tunning

my vibrations are caused by the air-con compressor.

when I turn off my aircon, the mild vibrations are gone. very apparent. (and prob a tell-tale sign that it is due for replacement, since the bearing is noisy already)

this is in view of my earlier heavier vibrations, which has been reduced significantly after replacing the one-way pulley.
