I'm quite sure it will be faster in a few months. It may be a bit slower at first as you learn the car especially the lower speed exits, but everywhere else the car will be faster immediately due to lighter weight, suspension updates, more power and a quicker gearbox, better aero (?) = better straights, braking, entry, mids. And other RWDs in a similar class on similar tires have already demonstrated an ability to exit from turns at SIC just as quickly as the SL except at T2, and T9.
The main difference between new car and old one is power oversteer threshold at exit (the SL was heavily rear biased despite AWD, kind of like R35), and magnitude of throttle steer with new layout more sensitive to it.
