Scrap or renew?

Hi fellow bros & sis,

My 320 car is due soon.

Coe is $60k yearly dep will be $8.1k excluding repairs and rising road tax

Option b

buying a used 320 is $13-14k

What would you do?

Any scrap dealer to recommend? Wondering how much I can get for the body?

Or should I renew then sell?

This is the million dollar question that no one has the right or wrong answer. It all depends on your situation

Don't forget your 320's PARF Rebate will be forfeited if you renew the COE. Gotta add that number into your calculation of depreciation.

Unless Coe drop to below $45k, I would scrap it and buy a used 320i year 2010 onwards. Body should be about 2k to 4K.
My 2 cents nia...no right or wrong

I tried sgcarmart, they offered 800 for body parts

body value has dropped to $800 as lots of E90s are being scrapped.

I am scrapping mine and taking MRT.

Was hoping for $2k but I guess more are scrapping like what ahbengdriver mentioned.

For E90 320i, body is about $800-$900 , unless u got gearbox failure or engine malfunction .. then will be different amount ..
For E60 523i, body is about $1000-$1100
For E66 730li,body is about $1500-$1600

that provide good shape .
