For my case, it was clearly an act by a vandal with a key. Certain part was quite deep, but may not be up to the primer. Didn't take note because it was at night when I saw it and was so desperate to quickly rectify it. Anyway, I could offer both you and nesta a try on a small part to see the result. Except that I've had stuff this stuff since Jul 03, so I'm not too sure if that's too long to be effective. Please let me know. Would have posted this earlier but for the forum downtime.

I reckon the newly sprayed area may not look homogenous at first (in terms of shine), but if you do a quick waxing, it should blend in very nicely!

Gotta admit at first glance, I thought there were two tones...Nearly broke my heart into a million pieces :verysad: . This morning it looked okay, don't think you can tell it was resprayed unless you know it's been done before
.Yeah, I think they did wax it after the paint job cos' it was really smooth when I touched it. Just wonder why there are such people out there who do things like this!!!

I tink east coast is quite a 'popular' spot leh! 4yrs ago i went to chalet n my Merc was parked at the carpark. It was abt 9pm. Later abt 1130pm i came back n discovered a big dent at the rear passenger door. It seem some1 had KICK hard to the door. Heart pain until wanted to slaughter tat person! Wat to do all i can do was to cursed tat the person who did tis will met an accident n end up on a wheel chair. :twisted: Tot of getting the spy too!

Now that the cigarette packs come with health warnings, perhaps we should have a warning sticker that reminds of the punishment from vandalism:
