Seatbelt extender for BMW coupe

Hi all,

I believe this topic has been covered before but I was not able to find a solution to this problem.

On my 2009 coupe, the seatbelt extender use to work fine but suddenly, it stopped functioning as it should.

The problem that I am facing is that the extender does not push the seatbelt and it slips off the arm that pushes it out. I've read reviews that it might work with starching the seatbelt etc but I'm not keen to do that.

I went to performance motors and they placed some clip at the bottom of the seatbelt (near the rear seats) but it does not solve the problem.

Would anyone with similar experience be kind to share how they resolved this issue?

Ah,...

Got it ...most expensive coupe has this function. So you will not need to stretch yr arm behind and sprain yr shoulder :)

Hahaa. My bad, it should be called a seatbelt handover and it looks something like the attached.

What PML has done is basically added the following which I believed is supposed to clamp the seatbelt down so it is tense enough for the handover to push out View attachment 58584View attachment 58585View attachment 58586

Re: Seatbelt extender for BMW coupe

Ironing is weird.

As an experiment ...... How about you stick 2 hair pins on top and below of the area of the belt where the arm would make contact with extender arm ?

Borrow a pair of hair tongs, starch spray and it becomes easier.

Re: Seatbelt extender for BMW coupe

I think what you suggest is better ....... There are now a couple of things for hai that I can see is good for our rides ....

Hairspray for removing stains and ink from the car body.
Hair tongs for twisted belts.
Hair blower for stickers.

Can do anything with hair dye ?

:)

Red_bean_bun are you sure hairspray won't damage and the paint and can remove stains haha...

I am worried I might get stomped ironing or trying to straighten my seat belts using hair tongs lol
