Selling my Nov 07 Golf R32

Hi All,

I have a Nov 2007 Black Golf R32 (5 Door) DSG with the following mods:-

1) Progressive ME 18 inch rims with Pirelli P zeros (Edit: Just fitted new Goodyear Assym F1s at the 26200km mark)
2) Reverse Sensors (the ones mounted on the number plate bracket)
3) Aftermarket stereo with Alpine secondary headunit concealed in boot for time alignment, Brax 4 channel power amp, Bazooka bass tube, SEAS 3 way speakers mounted in doors with high quality sound proofing, all fitted and tuned by Swiftmotion so that all steering wheel stereo functionality and the stock look is maintained.

Mileage is lowish at 26k and car has never been driven out of SG
Car is still under warranty with VGS
I have the standard sports seats and not the CF high backed ones that could also be had with the R32, as I found those too uncomfortable for use as a daily driver.
Car is accident free and I am the first owner from new.

OMV - $39,816

I am asking for $108,800.

Please SMS me at 9682 2811 if interested. Sorry no pictures of the car but you should come view the car if you are interested.

For those looking for a Golf GTi (Or a 3 series saloon), this might be an interesting alternative. Although it is more expensive than an equivalent age/mileage Gti and is much more difficult(and expensive) to extract more power from the R32, I have not owned anything that is quicker point to point. The linear power delivery of the big naturally aspirated 3.2 engine coupled to 4 wheel drive and smooth near instant shifting from the DSG box (my brother has the GTi and we notice that the more linear power delivery on the r32 allows the gearbox to function more smoothly) translates into a real pocket rocket in our heavy local traffic conditions regardless of weather. It also has a fantastic exhaust note (stock) that really gets under your skin all the way from idle to the redline.

Sincere buyers can contact me for viewing / discussion. Pls try and refrain from making me an offer without seeing the car first.

Reason for selling is simple; I want to get a convertible!

Re: Selling my Nov 07 Golf R32

Ash! Long long time no see or hear!

So what are you driving nowadays? Saw the thread of the PFL E46 being scrapped.

Car is not a monster la. Just a large lusty NA engine in a nice, very practical package. Don't know whether it is just sales talk but I was told by someone in VGS that due to the economic downturn, going forward (Scirocco and whatever comes after), VW will no longer shoehorn the NA 6 cylinder engines into the smaller cars and use the R32, R36 labels to denote engine size. Instead they will use the blown 2.0 4 pot and just release that with a higher state of tune for the R models. Good example is the upcoming Scirocco R with 2 litres and 265 bhp

Re: Selling my Nov 07 Golf R32

hey bro.... are you confirming THAT convertible you and your brother both put down deposits for? strange, yesterday I saw an R32 on the road, and instantly I was wondering how you've been doing, and then i see this thread.

Re: Selling my Nov 07 Golf R32

Very nice car. I have tested a R32 and I would say that the exhaust note is rather intoxicating! Agree that its a great drive - linear power delivery coz its NA and big cc.

BTW were you at Holland V yesterday. I saw a very nice 5dr R32 burbling and idling on next to the food centre.
