Bro, that's exactly my point. I think there are people out there who are threatened by Optima Werkz' success. Like things in life, nothing can ever by 100%, so there'll also be unhappy customers - but for that to be taken to this extreme and for damage to be caused to INNOCENT parties' cars - that's too much, and totally uncalled for.
To their credit, Optima Werkz handled the situation professionally (as it was reported), and as well as can be asked for, given the difficult circumstances that they are also a victim in this situation.
Would this put me off paying them a visit, actually, to be honest, this has made me even more curious than before - and I might just take my BMW over for a peek to see what they do, at the next service.

I read a lot of trolls in this thread mostly speculative and judgemental. I just want to share my non-bias opinion of OW here. I have been to many workshops in Singapore before the boom in those offering services for european makes. OW is also not my regular place as I do alternate amongst several others depending on my specific needs.
Honestly to say the least they are very professional and proper in their job. Several months ago I ordered an unique DRL (not available locally) online and decided to give OW a try on installation. I only left OW brief instructions with the product's vague installation guide. I didn't receive a call from OW throughout the day and to my pleasant surprise it was fitted neatly and precisely to my expectation. Wiring was neat, switch was well concealed and overall properly fitted. Other times oil change and general services experiences was also no fuss and imo reasonably priced. To me the experience is close to an authorised dealership with a more personal touch.
It's unfortunate such unpleasant event happened especially in a "low crime" nation as ours. We know this is a small island and it's difficult to get away with things. I am sure justice will be served so whether be it red-eyed workshops or just mere pranks it's extremely hard to get away with such deeds.

When i got my budget ride not long ago, i went to Optima to look see only, no money. Was welcomed by Rick, cheerful and knowledgeable guy. He showed me around even he knew my intention was to kpo. i was shocked to see the amount of hoists they have. i think no one have that amount, correct me if i'm wrong. One thing that really caught my attention was how clean and neat the whole workshop area.
After a few months, i was back again to do up my springs which cost less than S$800.00. Rick was really accommodating whenever i change dates due to my busy schedule. Told him that i need to rush, 3 men attend to my car and they did an excellent job to my ride. Till now no issue...
Itchy backside, ordered an exhaust for my another budget SUV. Coming soon according to Rick.
IMHO, they have a professional team, reasonable price and man of their words.
if you drive bmw and expect cheap service bill, go drive proton and service in JB, ringgit is cheap now!!
