From what i know, slapping people isn't a seizable offence.
What if one day I slap a stranger because he/she coughs/sneeze on me as a result of not covering their mouth.

Come discuss the possible scenarios.

my guess is depends: on whether the other party wants to sue. and will the judge throws this out a case of wasting taxpayer's money and time. and whether both are rich enough to pay 50k for both lawyers to fight out the slap.

In my opinion, anything can be a storm in a teacup even if a saliva drop on someone.

True. Also, I think it depends on the mood and prevailing circumstances. If the saliva landed on someone in the peak of SARS, you can be sure the drop of saliva will surely be viewed as a deadly weapon by the victim.

I will say slapping is like a social norm. If you watch enough Korean drama you will see that they like to slap face, slap head, etc. Singapore has a long way to go...
