I think driving in sports mode is going to get you shifting the fastest. But from response I'm getting from my car it would seem that it's also the method that would cost the most wear and tear on the system.
Bro, are u refer to the car jerks when the car slowing down from 3rd to 2nd gear while crusing to a stop ??
I did check with the German guys and he assured me that that is normal. One reason why it happens especially on a 325 is that the final drive is shorter and hence the jerk..
It happens on my car as well and i kind of get rid of it when i got them to re-programme my SMG and somehow, i got better especially when they bring up the idling revv a little to 750rpm from 700rpm..
