Anyone can translate in summary?

sure.

About 200 SMRT bus drivers refused to go to work early Monday morning and instead assembled at their dormitory in Woodlands.
The drivers, who are Chinese nationals, were unhappy about the recent pay increase that Malaysian drivers had received, reported Chinese newspaper Shin Min Daily News.
Malaysian drivers got a $275 increment and a month's bonus, while Chinese nationals were paid $75 extra without any bonus.
An SMRT human resource executive was called in to resolve the dispute but when the discussion came to a standstill, police with their riot vans were called.

Sart right my translation?
No la actually it's from ST: 200 SMRT bus drivers refuse to go to work over pay issue

Re: SMRT drivers refused to start work

In summary, over 100s of SMRT bus drivers from PRC went on strike to protest against low pay and poor accommodation conditions.....

Re: SMRT drivers refused to start work

my lousy translation from the cheena version.

Lian He Zao Bao reporter XXX reported, unhappy with salary and accomodation, 100 plus PRC SMRT bus captains applied for MC en masse and refused to work today.

Accordingly to a bus captain who was interviewed, today's bus captains who applied for "MC" were from Kranji and Woodlands bus depots. Later, bus captains from Ang Mo Kio depot also decided to join in at the last minute.

The bus captations are gathered at the hostel in Woodlands with SMRT representatives negotiating with them. According to observations by reporters, the situation seems calm.

A bus captain (36 years old) from JiangSu told reporters that the basic salary for PRC bus captations are already lower than bus captains from Singapore and Malaysia. More over with the change from 5 days work week to 6 days work week, the opportunities for overtime is almost zero. Previously, in addition of OT pay, they are able to earn more than $2000 but it's only about $1400. They are also unhappy with the poor living conditions are the hostel as well as pay deduction for taking MCs.

Re: SMRT drivers refused to start work

SINGAPORE: Public transport provider SMRT said that it is in talks with its bus drivers who refused to go to work on Monday.

A spokesman for SMRT said 102 of the bus drivers involved were from China and their service leaders are currently in talks with SMRT management.

SMRT said earlier reports that nearly 200 bus drivers were involved were incorrect.

Channel NewsAsia understands that the bus drivers had stayed away from work as a result of unhappiness over their pay.

SMRT added that the relevant authorities have already been informed about the situation.
