Some serious advise needed to revamp my E90

Dear senior bros and friends,

Was in a dilemma lately if i should spend a few K to revive my '05 E90.
As COE is at sky high , i doubt i can change my car in the next 3 year so was comtemplating the idea of overhualing the whole car so it will give me the fresh look again!!!

Hence, maybe some bro can give me some pointers like if i should go for a second hand body kit and repray the color of the car?

Care to share your experience and budget if you had done it before?

Perhaps , you can also share with me the GOOD workshop who can do this for me...........

Start with your budget.... how much?

Your car's mileage? Cause certain things might go.... might as well mod those too, example suspension.

i was thinking of 5-7k............ revamp the body plus some mod in the engine.

my current mileage is 110k...........Grey in color........... feels quite sian to see those wear and tear parts like rubber and door strap and falding headlights.............

I want it to look like a BMW again! hahahaha

Check with SWC (Mike) for used kits. But I suspect $5-7K tight for bodykits + wheels + tyres + drop..........

IMHO, change CAR.

Rubber can be restored with gummi pflege.

Headlight per pc should be around $1k per pc.

bro i driving a E90, 5-7 honestly is not enough for a major makeover, especially if u still have to take into account replacing wear n tear parts like the notorious oil leak, respray n bodykit alone can hit 5k, if your car is stock u will need around 10k everyhing in.

Cheong kit inclusive spray - 2k+
Respray same colour - 2-3k
Tires - 1k+
Springs - less than 1k (2nd hand hand coilover 1k+)
Trims - Not sure.... around 1k?

Bodykit on stock car is a no-no !!!

pirelliboy, u may want to wait patiently for a few months more. Once f30 comes out many people will dekit, then u can get the items u want. Key word is patience, dun rush.

U da fastest upgrader among the guys I know here, besides kris...haha
E36 to e46 to e90lci.
Dun pray pray....robot earn alot from his fainting performances...haha

Original m-tech kit (new) + spray: low $3k
Rims (19") + csc5 rubbers: low $3k
Lowering spring (2nd hand): less than $400
Total: about $7k

Btw I already on a 18 inch replica rims which I just change months back.

But the suspension is stock , I just scare it will affect the current comfort ride if I change it, maybe some bros here can offer some good solution . Anyway just to let u guys know u r helping a technical idiot here who only know how to drive and try to make the car look good but he does not know a lot of spare part meaning. Hahaha

i think to wait for some bros here to dekit when they upgrade is a pretty good idea.
hopefully i can get some good bargain for a single take over of their existing kit.

Then follow by a new paintwork should work well.............

Anyway, COE falls yesterday, so hopefully it will continue to fall untill i can work out a new F30!!!
