Android is more for tech savvy people (this is even more true when you talk about Samsung Galaxy Nexus). iOS is more for people who want something simple and idiot proof.

do you guys know the the Xperia S has this coating that will prevent your dirty fingers (from grabbing onto chocs or sweets), from smudging the onto the phone?

Nothing to shout about. The iPhone 4 already has this oleophobic coat that is fingerprint-proof. That was when? 2010?
