The box inside rear console vibrating ? Take it out see if noise stops ?

Anyone know how to solve vibration sounds from the rear centre panel?

I will stick those cheap hard black rubber bumps (those sold in a pack for $1.50, for chairs, not felt or foam type, hard rubber) on the edge of the console touching either other hard plastic. This will minimize the 'free play' of the console and prevent rattling. I noticed many 3 series (older models) driver seats creak badly, due to the plastic touching the leather, and the buttons touching the plastic. A little white cream will do the magic.

Met up with bro gerrie. He applied some white paste to the car and 50 percent of the sounds disappeared. Thanks bro. Haven't had the chance to apply on the other parts of the car yet due to work hectic.

Went to bro Gerries and he helped solve my creaking seat problem with the white cream. Many workshop wouldn't have the patience and knowledge to solve this issue.

Sometimes you gotta be careful when you send your car for grooming cos the cleaning solution that is somewhat supposed to protect the leather causes this problem. I recall the same exact thing happening for my 5 series.

Best is to tell them not to use the solution on the seats. That'll leave the leather in original condition and not the shiny glossy finish which causes the seats to squeak when it rubs when you go over humps.
