Squeaky Sound from Steering Wheel

Recently discover squeaky sound when I steer right, is like some tension...the sound seems coming from front passenger dashboard, any bro experience this? Btw my ride is E90 320i

MUNICH spray lubrication but still got sound ... will get outside workshop to confirm and then I go back and bang table ...

always have to run 2-3 times ....

One shot will give a long list to BMW asia and german ...

if under warranty just get it replaced.........( i got mine replaced....under warranty )

steering rack up lorry.. Costs ard 4K plus.. Anyone can
advise what can i do to solve this properly without changing
this steering rack ? Or Malaysia workshop can solve this
problem cheaper ?

Appreciate all bros to help on this urgent as car is in
workshop now awaiting changing..

Send my car to check today, found right side suspension front mount crack, replaced, sound gone...

I think you just need to adjust the elevation of your steering wheel, upwards or downwards.

Try that bro, not due to that but the WS also mentioned without changing the mounting, they can't confirm is the steering rack, still monitoring

Most likely steering rack cupping wears off. (see attached link whole item 2 section)

Mine was replaced under warranty.

@ Supan, no choice they (PML or MA) have a stupid systems which will do A then B then C etc etc until it reaches R = replace!

I believe & assume that mine is still their top record of replacement & trips visited.. lolz
