Hi Bros
Any of you have change this item?
Remote control error came out saying remote control not present. sometimes when starting car or when someone closes the door. Mechanic says F10 520i tends to have this problem.
Changing of front brake pads and discs (original) is @$650 is it cheap?

Why only F10 520 only have this prob ?
Seems like your mechanic does not know what to answer so anyhow shoot
Likely your remote batt is weak.

Front rotor and pad at $650 is not ex for F10

Sorry double confirm with him. 523i and E60 have this problem. Battery definitely not weak change same. PML using diagnostic test says fault is intermittent for the Starter motor. If change still error then must change car access card.

Where to change front pair of rotor and brake pad other then PML?

Test the key battery with a multimeter. There are cases where a faulty key will drain the battery very quickly. 3V.

Brake pad with disc include labour 650 i think is very gd price. Mind sharing where?
