It's never as smooth with the meth armed unless you're going all out on track. Transition between off to full throttle is a little lumpy even with a tuned progressive spray. Not something you'd see on the dyno due to the inertia of the drums but you'll definitely feel it when driving around.
With that said, I still drive with it armed all the time
