Stock air filter - what's PML interval for changing?

Dear bros,
May I know what is PML's standard interval for changing the stock air filter?

I am asking because I am thinking of changing myself - if the standard interval is still some distance away.

But if it is due soon in one of the upcoming inspection, then I will wait till then.

Gam siah and regards,
Robot

P.S. In case anyone is wondering why am I changing so many filters at one go, it is because my pocket is almost empty and I can't mod anymore. So to cure the virus and itchiness at backside, I change filters.

bro i dun think its the upcoming 20k. its more likely to be inspection 2. if have only gone through one oil change and now only going for 1st inspection (20k) then it will be some way to go still (still need to go for 2nd oil change then ur 2nd inspection is due). just give them a call on monday la. most likely u need to change it urself

I am very touched Slater, I know you will be the one to help me!

You are right, it is the upcoming 18k/20k servicing, where I will ask them to do the 2nd oil change for me (the first one was done at 9,000km).

In that case, I will change to aftermarket air filter (after my servicing) and then change back to stock before the next servicing hee hee. If my bonus is enough....

Thanks bro!
Btw, just to double confirm, aircon microfilter change at PML must pay them, regardless of any servicing interval right? I know there's nothing free at PML, but it's difficult to say, it's CNY season....

Yup, I am also considering trying out Hurricane. Oops...I'm not suppose to mod anymore.
Someone help me....I'm out of the money.....

You have ask the right question in the right thread! I am the expert in this area liao, I know the answer! Yes, you are right.
It's very crude though. When scolded in general it may be alright but when directed at someone specifically, I think very rude liao.

KNN, don't OT leh!

Re: Stock air filter - what's PML interval for changing?

The recommended interval is 20K for air filter change but I changed mine at 10K. Open up the airbox to check the condition to see it justifies a change.

bro, its part of the price u pay for the 2nd inspection as its an item they deemed fit to replace. its factored in liao. unless ur filter is so freakin clean they feel theres no need to change

Re: Stock air filter - what's PML interval for changing?

Oh dear, sorry, something wrong with my calendar software. My servicing is tomorrow. Paiseh.
Will try to find out about the service indicators and what are the stuff to be changed and at when...

Re: Stock air filter - what's PML interval for changing?

Ok, checked with chio CSA and was told air filter is due for change at 3rd servicing, which I estimate is 9,000km away. Hooray, can play with aftermarket air filter first. Is hurricane good, or difficult to maintain?

I have used both K&N and Hurrican b4, personally I prefer Hurricane cos its easy to maintain and no oiling required.
