I do not know the driver. But just ignore him/her. Maybe earlier you might have offended him/her accidentally. But regardless, just ignore and just continue on your way. Safety first.
If the other party is unhappy, he/she should have confronted you or just a honk, instead of tailgating or driving dangerously.

The Driver is just tryin to save some petrol...just like cyclists in a pack, the lead guy is cutting into the wind, the bugger behind the lead uses less effort by tailgating him.....

I used to slow down or tap my brake. But have stopped since I was rear ended twice in the last 12 mths. Though its not by tailgaters, but by taxi who move off at slip road with me in front of them.

Two weeks ago I kena tailgated by one White F10, sart sart dark dark tinted window, it was not on highway and i was on decent speed so I dont think i offended him.
Si beh pissed off, but come to think of it... it will not bring me any benefit if i stepped on the brake and bad things might happen to my ride if his tailgate skill is bad....
Endured, I turned left, he went straight, and i have short memory after that....
