Hi bro, my fren end 05 523 got a tiak tiak sound when engine start and idling. Quite loud but when rev, the sound go away. Any bro has any experience with this? Is it any of the belt is gone or engine has got problem? Thanks.

maybe not enough engine oil....try topping up.
so far i never hear tiak tiak sound on 6 potters...have the strawberries turned lemon??

So confirm strawberry no tiak tiak
Maybe yours is piak piak
Tiak tiak very sensitive word in this forum

Strawberry means look nice and red outside but most times sour inside.

Seriously, whenever I hear such noise my heart skip a beat. 'Cos I worry it is the valvetronic going up lorry.

But maybe it is just time for servicing and a good run up to Malaysia to clear the carbon clogged up.

Sound like Valve tappet sound...may need tappet adjustment....lor.....or is it Kenn hiding in your hood and having a piak piak with someone...

Its not my car leh. We open bonnet start engine together n my fren one is tiak tiak but mine is ahhhhh...smooth
He doesnt really bother taking care of his car thats why

Hello. How can yours purr? Hearsay somesay N55 engine also got tiak tiak sound. I can't hear because:

a. I'm old, a bit hard of hearing
b. I got extra sound insulation done for the F13
c. I da man, no sun roof.
