So not fair to cast image of fisherman on men, and make victims of baited prey of women. Willing poker willing pokee in many cases. Rules of the game known.
But yes, with a married man is like car rental - no ownership. Short term fun. Eventually must return. Ironically, if the car is on sale, you will NOT want it.

A very good friend, albeit female, asked me why would single gals stick to married men.
I told her the various reasons.
(1) Some have no faith in ownership - they think buying a new car does not mean low risks of lemon compared to sharing a rented car. What matters is - which car gives more happiness and enjoyment?
(2) Some prefer short term enjoyment, hence ownership does not matter - they could not see a long term relationship working out for them, so live for the moment. Whatever good comes, take. Enjoy first.
(3) Some say a driven car more experienced. No need to run in. No need to worry when to scrap too. Liability is on the car, not driver.
(4) Some prefer that part-time basis. The rental car will never bug you whole day. But when the driver snaps her fingers, he likely will rush to her. Best of both worlds.
