Below is a simple description taken from the website:

Ceiling Mounted Sunglass Holder from bimmian.com
Most BMWs lack storage for sun glasses. The grab bars found on the driver and passenger sides are rarely used, so why not turn them into a convenient way to store sun glasses for you and your passengers. Bimmian.com offers the perfect solution of you to store and safely keep your sun glasses while in your vehicle.

Features and Benefits Of This Product
Now you can always know where your sun glasses are without having to go through the centre console or door storage while driving. Nothing can be more convenient than having your sun glasses right above you for an easy reach.
The holder is designed to be opened simply by pulling on the case as you would the grab handle. When released it springs back into the closed position, holding your glasses securely.
Sun glasses holder can hold most sunglasses including aviator style glasses. (please note that some sun glasses that are thicker when folded will still fit but case may not close all the way. If you have sun glasses that are larger than normal please consider this before purchasing this product.)

This is a replica part for BMW OEM# x1 51167842970.

What Its Made From
Made from high quality plastics with a padded insert to help protect the lenses of your glasses.
Each Holder come with philips mounting screws and features safety straps that are held in with these screws and are out of view when installed.
