Thank you Starblack!!

Re: Thank you Starblack!!

I must say after looking at Vincent's car (black Merc) at SIN, I think Starblack did a very good job on the grooming. Was at Starblack one evening chatting with Daniel OLL and Louis (Starblack biz development manager) Its really important that the people who are passionate about their cars are willing to share their passion and knowledge (in this case OrhLulu) and ensures his recommendation not only give 100% to bro Gadaffi, but even more than expected.

Re: Thank you Starblack!!

yo gad bro, glad u love what Starblack did to your ride. Star black is carrying menzerna product that most here knows that its a good product formally used by SFC. unfortunately SFC closed many months back and everyone asking when will there re-open. me too anxiosly waiting for them to re-open. Been scouting ard for good groomers and stumble upon Starblack since currently working with them on DPE rims.

Generally most knows that menzerna is a good product, narrow down to workmanship than. I have seen Starblack team work on a few cars and there are pretty good in removing swirl and fine scratches. Bro gaddifi RX300 paintwork was very bad before starblack work on it.. swirl and scratches were all over the car. after the session, all gone. the leather steaming process also manage to clear all stains from the seats. Honestly, their workmanship is pretty good when comes to handling the product but room for improvement when coming to the process when washing the car... so i shared with them using of Sheepskin wool mitt and the usage of Blower to blow dry the car after every wash, They find my suggestion valid and decided to put them into use. Good move! using wool to wash will simply reduce fine scratches while washing and drying with blower will not ever again create scratches. I even suggest them to wear rubber glove when opening and closing doors not leaving finger prints.. they are considering.. hahahahahah

Marcus took pix of a SLK200 aft the restoration. this SLK200 has not groom his car for the last 6 months and was maid washed. paintwork was very bad.. after the restoration by starblack, all the swirl gone. The shine looks good but most products out there can give the same shine so nothing surprising.

Is it easy to buy a (leaf?) blower in SG? I was really wanted to get one, but a friend warned me if it's not installed with a filter of some sort, the air stream might throw out particles on the paint instead, making things worse. Also, i dunno where to find. I still want one bad, so i'll have less cloths to wash after each car wash. any suggestions on where to buy and how to filter the air?

that's a good idea. Since they gotta handle all the grooming products, better for the staff too. just not those powdered disposible gloves lah... wait leave more prints than a csi crime scene.

.

bro, u can get it from Kranji Loop Hard wareshop... few shops selling there. few designs to choose from too. I got mine 3 years ago brand "Makita".. cost me abt $110. Mine is slightly bigger than what SFC is using. Need strong arms to handle that.. haha. Smaller version shld be able to get below $100. Been using them on all my cars, never once has the problem ur friend mentioned.

THe markita brand i m using, can act as blower and vacuum. quite useful. :)
